St Modwen Public Exhibition Set For Monday July 7th

Letters from a company called Green Issues Communications have been appearing in local letterboxes announcing St Modwens second "public consultation" exercise which is to take place at Coombs Wood Business Centre, Coombs Wood Business Park on Monday 7th July from 3.00pm - 8.00pm.

Despite the fluffy-sounding name, Green Issues Communications is a one of the UK's largest private sector public consultation companies and boasts "considerable experience of engaging communities on contentious issues". In other words the company has been hired to greenwash the St Modwen proposals.

Although this looks likely to be a rerun of the previous sham consultation in March, anyone with an interest should attend. Those most affected by the proposals, local residents, should be prepared to register objections.

Here follows the full text of the letter:-
